Edgeweir documentation
Welcome to the official Edgeweir documentation.
Edgeweir is a self-hosted CDN, WAF and intelligent edge scheduling platform. The system has two core parts:
- Console (control plane): handles the web UI, the OpenAPI, certificate issuance, rule compilation and configuration delivery to edge nodes. Ships as a single image and depends only on PostgreSQL 18.
- Edge nodes (data plane): run on your Linux edge servers. The Go agent keeps the mTLS connection to the console alive and syncs configuration; OpenResty proxies traffic and fetches from origins at high throughput.
Whether you want an acceleration gateway for your own sites on a single VPS or a multi-region, multi-cluster edge network, start with the deployment guides below.
